We are currently in Jamaica!
This is the first time I have been to Jamaica to share my story with children's homes in Kingston. We are going with two purposes.
First, we are going to start building a relationship with a couple different children's homes. We are so excited for the opportunity to partner with these children's homes. They are in dire need of Children's diapers, and through your generous support, we are able to help fill that need. It reminds me of the simple things that we can often take for granted and what a tremendous difference it makes for these little children to have new, clean diapers. Thank you for partnering with us in this mission to bring hope to these kids!
Our goal is to share hope through story and song with anyone we can. Especially, those who are hopeless. But we also believe that building a relationship with these homes is a necessity. On our trips in the past, we have been told multiple times that most missions trips come once and do their best to help, but they never hear back from them. In fact, In Kenya, they have a word for people that only visit once and never come back. This breaks our heart. We do not want to simply share hope and leave. We want nothing more than to keep coming back and supporting these children's homes. Thankfully, because of your continued support, we have been able to do just that. All over the world, we have built relationships and we are blessed to be able to keep those relationships strong and continue building new relationships all thanks to your support. So thank you.
Second, we are filming June's episode of Hope Stories on location in Jamaica. We are capturing my visits to these children's homes as well as parts of my story on location where the events actually occurred.

All in all, this is going to be a very cool trip and it wouldn't have been possible without your support. Matthew 25:40 says:
"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'"
Our lives are crazy busy. Between work, school, and family, going on a mission trip is not always something that can be squeezed into a schedule. But, as one of our supporters has said in the past, "I can't go. But, I can send you."
